Hello my friends! It's been quite some time, hasn't it? With the month's that have passed, I want to update my audience on what's been going on, where I am in my life, what work has been like, and most importantly — my new website!
After the first few months of COVID, my creativity suffered, and I became dull with ideas. With not being able to work, and the lack of interaction with my clients, it became hard to envision myself as an artist, which was hard. I truly have loved writing on my blog, whether my post reaches one person, or one hundred people, I enjoy putting out information that is interesting for people to invest time into reading.
Where have I been, and what have I been doing? Well, on a personal level, I have definitely fell down the rabbit hole of buying household items either seen online or on TikTok off Amazon, totally guilty of overspending on a coffee cup warmer, but hey, totally necessary right? I am totally a homebody, and my home is somewhere that is a sanctuary to me, so I've been doing a lot of cleaning, purging, and reorganizing, in fact today, I took a trip to HomeGoods to buy all new couch pillows, HGTV here I come. Other than being home, binge watching shows, vision boarding on Pinterest, and spending time with my fur babes, I've been spending a lot of time with my loved ones, and really taking the time in to enjoy little moments with them.
So what's going on in work? Well, I haven't worked with too many clients since March, unless it's been through my online consultations (which are still available through my website). After launching my online consultations though, I went through a dull patch of creativity with blogging. I decided that a revamp to my website, and rebranding myself, would help to re-inspire me. I worked with WixSpace, and truthfully have to give kudos to Nicola, who helped me with everything from A-Z with my website.
So without anymore chit chatting, let's discuss my NEW SITE, and all new features, and designs to help me to help my audience!
Let's start out with my homepage, first off, not to toot my team or I's own horn, but it's gorgeous! My shop section is now easily accessible on the side to browse through online consults (and possibly upcoming projects as well, shh). You can easily see my blog posts from my home page as well, in a new beautiful sleek design, that can be looked through quickly. Another feature is my integration of my Instagram to my homepage, incase you don't follow me on Instagram (which you should be), you can see my recent posts through my website's homepage. Lastly, you can sign up for my newsletter on the bottom of my page, which would be greatly appreciated! This will notify you via email whenever I post new blog posts, and with future ideas, maybe even blog member perks! With my new homepage design, it is a beautiful summary of my whole website, to easily look through.
My portfolio is my work throughout the years, not much has changed, however, it is the page I am most proud of on my site! You can see through all my looks from special effects, to bridal, and it's nice to be able to look back and see how my artistry has grown.
My about page, is exactly what it's named, simple! You can find my more professional side through this in comparison to my blog. It is my work throughout the years, my training, and seminars, which I continue to grow upon. I love having this section of my website that way any person who stumbles upon my website, no matter where, can know what I do, and have done.
My shop section is quite new to my site. If you follow my blog, or my Instagram, you know I launched my skin consultations back in May. I may have upcoming ideas to add to my shop. Let's just say I have some ideas in the works, and my shop will definitely be expanding in the future.
My wonderful blog. If I haven't said it enough, I love writing, and especially to my audience whether it be sharing favorites of mine, or educating you on a topic, it's amazing to be able to write to have someone always have it accessible. One of my favorite features on this page, is the side favorites section, which are products mentioned in my posts, or on my Instagram, that I am obsessed with, that can take you easily to the link to purchase it (I know, a dangerous feature, I know I get suckered in on other's blogs with this)! Other than that, you can easily navigate my blog sections, and posts.
My contact page is straight forward. If you want to reach me, the best way, is first through email firstname.lastname@example.org, through my website contact, or via Instagram DM (however I don't always check my DMs). If you have any questions, are looking to book a service, or are inquiring about a service, it's a straight forward prompt to which service you are interested in. Lastly, you can find my socials at the bottom of the page to keep up with me throughout the week and not just Skin Sundays!
In conclusion, I have truly worked endlessly to perfect this website to make my site a place where my work meets my clients/audience on a more personal level, and providing tips and tricks for beauty, wellness, and lifestyle. If you've made it this far into reading this post, thank you truly!
— Until next time, keep up with me on Instagram, & of course, reach out with any questions! xo
